Plucking your Eyebrows into a flawless work of Art...
To Tweeze or not to Tweeze that is the question...
If your question is about Plucking, I have the answer. It all depends on what you feel comfortable with there are a lot of different ways to shape your brows.
Tweezing has been around FOREVER! It is always an old reliable, when it comes to eye brow shaping.
I prefer this method because I can get a precise look, and I enjoy the feeling I get when they are just right...
When I first began as a makeup artist I had a mentor, who had done makeup for many different celebrities and major magazines tell me that "Your eyebrows are sister's, but not twins". I was so obsessed with having the brows identical that I wasn't considering them to the proportions of the face.
The first eyebrow tip I would give you is to consider your faces natural frame, and go from there.
Flawlessly shaped eyebrows will accentuate the look of your eyes, and on the other hand unruly eyebrows will hide the beauty of your eyes.
Step 1- To begin, apply a lubricant before you pluck, one that had a dulling effect like a oral gel (Anbesol works great).
Step 2- Use your tweezer, and start Plucking from the underside of the brow in the direction that the hair is growing.
Tip: Tweeze the top of the brow sparingly or they will start to lose there shape, and always Tweeze the stray hairs between them to keep your look uniform and neat.
Step 3- Brows should be the same color as your hair or a shade lighter. (check out my page on Eyebrow Bleaching)
Step 4- Your brows should start above the inner corner of your eye. Place a pencil against the nostril and line it up with the inner corner of your eye, to determine where the eyebrow should start.
Your eyebrow should end at a diagonal with the outer corner of your eye. To determine this, place a pencil at the side of your nose ending at the outer corner of your eye.
The eyebrow should arch above the outer rim of the pupil.
Be careful when you tweeze! If you don't feel comfortable, go see a professional.
Incorrect tweezing can ruin the look of your eyebrows. It takes 4 to 8 weeks for your brows to grow back and after a certain amount of time the eyebrow won't grow back. A huge mistake many people make is over tweezing! So don't go crazy!
If you do use a professional don't let your eyebrows get too unruly between appointments, and keep them in shape by plucking the stray hairs as they grow.

My Favorite Tweezer...
You are going to need a great
Tweezer that can be precise without cutting the skin. I prefer the Tweezerman brand of tweezers because they come in a zillion shapes, patterns, and styles. Also Tweezerman has a phenomenal Sharpening & Guarantee policy.
They will sharpen them for life, and or replace them if they become damaged or broken. These tweezers will be the last ones you will ever need to purchase. For a small investment of around $20 dollars you will own a great pair for life.
