Wedding Makeup Tips

Having wedding makeup tips that WORK, are essential to completing one of the most important days of your life.

You have dreamed of this day ever since you watched Princess Diana's wedding (Some of you aren't old enough to remember that...lol), or saw Ryan and Trista's wedding.

You want your wedding day be perfect in every way, so here are some bridal makeup tips to help out.

Step 1- To begin, be mindful of the setting of your wedding.

- Day Wedding/Evening Wedding

- Beach Wedding

- Summer Wedding (Warm weather or humidity)

- Winter Wedding (Cold Weather or precipitation)

Keep in mind all these types of settings when planning your makeup look.

Step 2- Know your face! Only you know how your face has reacted in the past to different products.

If you want to try a new product do it in advance, not the day of your wedding.

Do a trial run on your complete makeup look before the wedding either with a consultation with a professional makeup artist, or if you plan on doing your own wedding makeup on your own.

Step 3- Go with a more natural look by applying your foundation and making sure it matches your skin completely. Color blend the foundation on your jawbone and blend in at least 2-3 strokes.

Cover any blemishes or imperfections with a concealer.

Tip- Try using a kleenex to lightly pat the foundation once you are done applying, this will help your foundation to stay on longer.

Use a translucent powder to set the foundation in place once done.

Step 4- Shape the eyebrows and brush into place, fill them in if needed.

Step 5- The eyes...Try using a cream or white shade on the brow bone and on the inner corner of the eyes. This will make the eyes appear brighter and adds a great highlight.

Keep your eye makeup neutral, by using a taupe or light brown shade in the crease. Make sure to blend the eyeshadows well, this will give a softer appearance.

Step 6- Use a brown or black eyeliner to define the eye, Smudge to give the eyeliner more staying power.

Step 7- Try using False Eyelashes, to make your eyes really pop! If you have the time, try using individual lashes to give a more natural appearance.

Step 8- Apply blush to give a dewey finish to your look.

Step 9- Moisturize your lips, then apply a lipstick.

A makeup secret to having your lipstick last all day is to blot it with a kleenex once you have applied it, and then go over the lip again with the lipstick.

Apply a lip gloss as the top coat and you are set!

With these wedding makeup tips you should be able to make your bridal makeup look flawless...
